欧洲顶尖户外运动展OutDoor(Friedrichshafen)将落户中国南京
Outdoor goes Asia
The economic power of China is gaining ground: indeed, the Land of Smile is on the verge of becoming the number one industrial nation. This major growth also benefits Chinese manufacturers of outdoor products. From 23rd to 26th August 2006, the provincial capital Nanjing will host the first ASIA-OUTDOOR industry summit.
For the planning and conception of this trade fair, the Chinese hosts have got on board with a competent partner: Messe Friedrichshafen - the organiser of the biggest European industry summit, OutDoor - will support the Chinese in both word and deed. "For us, the ASIA OUTDOOR is an excellent opportunity to open up the Asian region to our own exhibitors," says Rolf Mohne, Managing Director of Messe Friedrichshafen, in explanation of the involvement of his company in China.
Against the background that countries such as Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, and eastern parts of Russia do not currently have a comparable industry trade fair, the organisers expect substantial interest to come from these neighbouring states. Furthermore, the Chinese boom is due in part to the involvement of European outdoor manufacturers. More than half of all European suppliers use the favourable general economic setting to produce at least a number of their products in China.
